"HMS honors the service of our men and women in uniform," said
Each month, tens of thousands of wounded warriors — men and women in our military who have been injured or become ill during service — transition out of the military, only to struggle in the civilian workforce. Many may be interviewing for a job or writing a resume for the first time, unsure of how military skills and experiences might translate to a civilian workplace.
Hero Health Hire unites the healthcare industry with government agencies and the military to eliminate barriers to employment, as well as to develop ways to support veterans and wounded warriors in their transition. Since its inception, Hero Health Hire has recruited additional industry partners representing more than a half million employees with worksites in every U.S. state.
"HMS is excited to join Hero Health Hire to make a difference in the lives of America's veterans and wounded warriors," said South of HMS. "Though our service to them can never equal their sacrifice for us, we look forward to a great future together."
